Nvidia has held early talks with insurers about covering loans to smaller cloud providers that pledge its AI chips as collateral, the Financial Times reported. Working with reinsurance broker Howden Re, Nvidia shared data on chip depreciation and future compute value. No deals are confirmed, and many large insurers are already at their exposure limits for AI companies.
