Microsoft Moves Communications Under Brad Smith

Microsoft is moving its communications group out of marketing and into its Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs organization, with vice chair and president Brad Smith overseeing it. Chief communications officer Frank Shaw departs later this year after nearly three decades. Brent Colburn becomes interim communications leader while Microsoft searches for a permanent replacement, internally and externally.
