Bitdefender researchers discovered the 'Midnight Mimosa' malware campaign affecting thousands of low-cost Android devices across 150 countries over two years. The software, embedded in firmware on models like the Doogee S200 X and Cubot KINGKONG X, allows attackers to perform ad fraud and turn phones into residential proxies.
