Grindr Buys PurposeMed for $250 Million

Grindr is acquiring PurposeMed, parent of HIV prevention telehealth provider Freddie, for $250 million, its first major acquisition since 2009. The deal, $190 million cash plus $60 million stock, closes in the fourth quarter. It expands Grindr's Woodwork health platform, giving millions of users access to PrEP, testing and prescriptions.
