Tesla Semi Wins 2,500-Truck Order

Tesla won the primary supplier slot for 2,500 electric Class 8 trucks through ZET SCALE, a new shipper alliance founded by Catalyst Mobility and Smart Freight Centre with Microsoft and PepsiCo as founding shippers. The order nearly doubles the US electric Class 8 fleet. Kenworth, Volvo and RIDE are secondary suppliers, so not all 2,500 will be Semis.
