IIT Madras startup unveils flying taxi prototype

The ePlane Company, an IIT Madras-incubated startup, unveiled its full-scale electric flying taxi prototype, the e200X, in Chennai. The eVTOL aircraft has a carbon-fibre body, weighs 2.2 tonnes, and offers a 110 km range. Flight testing is planned by mid-2027.
