OpenAI Adds $500 Pro Tier, Cuts $200 Limits

At DevDay, OpenAI launched a $500 monthly Pro plan with an Ultrafast tier reaching 300 tokens per second in Codex and Work. It also reduced the existing $200 Pro plan's Codex and Work usage from 20x to 10x Plus limits, and cut GPT-6 Pro message caps from 200 to 100 weekly. Existing subscribers keep current limits temporarily, then get a one-time credit.
