Inside Workflow DevKit: How framework integrations work

The Workflow Development Kit (WDK) announced at Ship AI now supports eight frameworks including SvelteKit, Astro, Express, and Hono. Integrations follow a two-phase pattern: build-time compiles workflow functions into handlers, runtime exposes them as HTTP endpoints. A SWC compiler plugin transforms the same input into three different outputs depending on mode.
