Supabase Databases Exposing Sensitive Data

UpGuard found roughly 16,000 Supabase-hosted databases publicly exposing personal data, including names, addresses, phone numbers and some passwords and authentication tokens. The misconfigured projects span an Indian adult streaming site, a U.S. valet service, an immigration service and an African consulate in France. Supabase, valued at $10 billion, says its defaults are secure and security is a shared responsibility with customers.
