Google picks 20 Indian AI startups; Ather cuts losses

Google selected 20 AI startups for the 2026 Google Play Accelerator India, an equity-free programme spanning healthcare, education, fintech, agritech, and gaming. Ather Energy cut its consolidated net loss 71% to Rs 51 crore in Q1 FY27, with income up 87.2% to Rs 1,260 crore.
