AI ROI gap is a leadership problem

IBM's Institute for Business Value found only 25% of AI initiatives delivered expected ROI and just 16% scaled. Boston Consulting Group designated AI leaders allocate 70% of resources to people and process changes, 20% to IT infrastructure, and 10% to models. Less than 8% of employees receive extensive AI training.
