Apple Home Hub to Use AI Facial Recognition

Apple's Home Hub, expected October 13, 2026, will use AI facial recognition instead of Face ID to identify household users and show their photos, music and calendars. Bloomberg reports the device has been ready to ship but was delayed for improved Siri AI. An updated MacBook Pro with Dynamic Island is also expected in October or November.
