PortSwigger released detection tools for PHP2Shell vulnerability CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 within hours of disclosure. The company provided passive checks via APIs and active scans for Burp Suite Professional users by Black Hat USA 2026. Active detection is now native in Burp Suite DAST for version 2026.10.54778 or above.
