ByteDance agreed to sell gaming unit Moonton to Savvy Games Group, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, for over $6 billion. Moonton, developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, becomes a wholly owned Savvy subsidiary. The deal completes ByteDance's divestment of core gaming assets.
