OpenAI has hired Paul Meade, a longtime Apple executive from its Vision Products Group, for its hardware division. Meade, who oversaw hardware engineering for the Apple Vision Pro, will work on OpenAI's upcoming line of AI-powered devices. He joins fellow Apple alumni Jony Ive, Tang Tan, and Evans Hankey at OpenAI.
