UK Regulator Proposes iPhone NFC Fee Cuts

The UK Competition and Markets Authority proposes forcing Apple to lower NFC fees and open contactless tech to third parties by November 17. While 39% of UK payments are contactless, no rival wallet exists unlike the EU where six apps launched after Apple agreed to access six months prior.
