RPF Launches Digital Crowd Forecasting Register

The Railway Protection Force has launched the E-Forecasting Register, a digital repository to track high-footfall events at Indian railway stations from 2022 onward. A September 17, 2026 order directs zonal officials to log festivals, rallies and exams in advance, enabling manpower deployment and police coordination. The system aims to replace a reactive approach after recent crowd incidents.
