Google Enhances Gboard Privacy with TEEs

Google Research has advanced Federated Learning by integrating Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to provide externally verifiable central differential privacy guarantees. This new architecture moves gradient computation to an attested server, enhancing privacy for Gboard's next-word prediction models in English and Japanese.
