Jamf found a fake Zoom installer that tricks Mac users into bypassing Gatekeeper, then installs an infostealer called CloudSyncD. The disk image mimics a normal installer but its background image instructs victims to click Open Anyway in System Settings and enter their admin password. Once installed, the malware records user data and sends it to attackers every eight seconds.
