Developer Releases 25-Year-Old Palm OS Virus

Developer ardiri releases a 1.5 GB archive of Palm OS resources and rediscovered the source code for 'Virii,' a self-replicating virus he created in June 2001. The code, found on a CompactFlash card, contained a payload designed to interfere with system time reporting between October 23 and 27, 2001, potentially causing erratic clocks and missed appointments for hundreds of developers.
