Open Source Driver Renders Windows 11 on NPU

Developer group labscommunity released the npu-driver prototype for Windows 11, rendering the desktop using an Intel Panther Lake NPU instead of the GPU. While the project targets 30 Hz performance, current tests show refresh speeds of 2 to 3 Hz on systems featuring NPU 5 architecture silicon spanning 45-50 TOPS.
