Anthropic Flags 500 Security Issues in 25 Projects

Anthropic used Claude to analyze 25 open source projects and uncovered nearly 500 security issues. The scan found exposed pre-authentication code paths and a flaw undetected for 21 years. Researchers scanned more than five million lines of code across C, Java, and Python projects. They identified 17,000 configuration options, with 3,842 relating to security controls.
