UPI expands to Uzbekistan via HUMO agreement

Indian travellers can pay Uzbekistan merchants by scanning UZQR codes with UPI apps after NPCI International and Uzbekistan's NIPC signed a commercial agreement on August 30. HUMO is the authorised partner for cross-border merchant acceptance. UPI is now accepted in 10 countries, with Uzbekistan becoming the 11th.
