NVIDIA announced the Isaac Gr00t reference design humanoid robot platform during Jensen Huang's Computex keynote. The platform combines a nearly 6-foot tall Unitree H2 Plus humanoid chassis weighing 150 pounds with 31 degrees of freedom, Sharpa five-finger tactile hands with 22 degrees of freedom, and NVIDIA Jetson Thor onboard compute. It is tied together with NVIDIA's Gr00t open software and models to accelerate humanoid development workflows. The H2 model is listed on Unitree's website for $29,900, though only renders have been shown. The Gr00t developer platform will also support the cheaper Unitree G1 humanoid robot. NVIDIA first revealed its Gr00t N1 foundational model in March.
