Turing swaps AMD chips to loosen Nvidia's grip

Turing Inc. added AMD Ventures as an investor and now runs about 10 percent of its AI training on AMD graphics chips. The Tokyo startup aims to put self-driving software in consumer cars and robotaxis by 2028. The shift lowers costs and gives Turing a second supplier beyond Nvidia.
