Colossal Biosciences Launches AI Platform

Colossal Biosciences announced Wednesday a new AI platform called GenoMorph to accelerate de-extinction efforts. The tool identifies genes for species with limited data, such as the dodo, by analyzing over 70 bird species. CEO Ben Lamm stated the team identified approximately 2,300 promising DNA editing targets for the dodo cranial facial morphology.
