Research Ireland Funds Eight Spin-Outs in First Report

Research Ireland's first annual report shows it paid €313m in grants and awarded €288m in new research funding, supporting over 3,000 PhDs and launching eight spin-outs. The agency, formed in August 2024 from Science Foundation Ireland and the Irish Research Council, leveraged €310m more, including €129m from the EU.
