Mr Robot Gang Rents Tools to Target Indian Banks

CloudSEK discovered the Mr Robot gang renting tools to infect Indian banking customers. As of 30 July 2026, affiliates held 153 infected phones and 5,407 intercepted SMS messages. The malware stays dormant for at least 48 hours and uses carrier code 21# to forward calls.
