Google builds Frozen v2 chip for Gemini AI

Alphabet is designing a server chip called Frozen v2, slated for 2028, to run Gemini models more efficiently. The chip could be six to ten times more efficient than Google's existing AI chips by tokens per unit of power. Google did not confirm or deny the report.
