World Cup streams freeze on VPN ad-blockers

Streaming sites use server-side ad insertions (SSAI) to deliver ads from the same server as the broadcast. VPN ad-blockers cannot distinguish these ads from the stream, causing the video player to freeze or go black during ad breaks. Disabling the ad-blocker before watching England vs Mexico fixes the crash.
