Apple Gains Share as China Shipments Plunge

IDC reports Apple gained market share in China during Q3 2026, reaching 17.8% despite a 4.3% year-over-year iPhone shipment decline. Overall Chinese shipments fell 15.4%, while Huawei surged 17.3% to 21.1% share. IDC expects component costs to remain elevated through much of 2027, driving higher prices and market declines.
