The Ryzen 7 5800X3D beat Intel's Core i9-12900K to reclaim the best gaming CPU title using stacked L3 cache. It paved the way for the 7800X3D and 9800X3D, extended AM4's longevity, and left Intel without an answer. AMD relaunched the chip on AM4's 10th anniversary.
