TikTok builds DM money transfers on TikTok Pay

TikTok is building a way for users to send money inside direct messages, with code in its US iPhone app pointing to a Venmo-like feature. The feature would run on TikTok Pay, currently live only in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. TikTok says it is not testing the feature in any market.
