Aptos Launches Encrypted Mempool Feature

Layer-1 blockchain Aptos launched an optional Encrypted Mempool feature on Monday to curb frontrunning and sandwich attacks. The system hides transaction details until block ordering is finalized, adding around 20 milliseconds per block in tests involving 50 nodes. Encrypted transactions carry a minimum gas price at twice the network's base minimum.
