Qualcomm formally unveiled the Dragonfly compute platform and C1000 CPU for datacenters at its Investor Day. The chips offer 2x better performance per watt and 30 percent more speed than competitors. The design uses Oryon architecture, over 250 cores, and High-Bandwidth Compute technology to address memory bottlenecks.
