Tesla tests production Cybercab without steering wheel

Tesla has begun testing a production version of its Cybercab on public roads in Austin, Texas. The two-seat vehicle has no steering wheel or pedals and is driven entirely by autonomous software with a safety monitor in the right passenger seat. Tesla first revealed the Cybercab in October 2024.
