GM Defense is developing a driverless Silverado-based unmanned ground vehicle for silent logistics and evacuations. The prototype uses drive-by-wire technology and Scout AI's Gx Ground Agent system. Functional trials with the Silverado-based prototype are expected to begin in 2027.
