IBM Ventures invested in Syracuse, New York-based BQP, bringing total funding to $8 million. The physics-acceleration software maker will expand its BQPhy platform, which runs quantum-accelerated simulation on existing CPU and GPU hardware. Venn10 Capital and Monta Vista Capital also participated.
