Nvidia announces new AI chip for personal computers

Nvidia announced the RTX Spark chip for personal computers at the Computex technology show in Taipei. CEO Jensen Huang called the chip a reinvention of the computer comparable to the smartphone. The RTX Spark will be included in a new line of Windows PCs from Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI, with Acer and Gigabyte models to follow. Availability is expected in autumn. The chip is described as a superchip for the era of personal AI agents. Separately, the US tightened rules on selling Nvidia's most advanced chips to Chinese firms.
