Electronic Arts is now privately owned by Silver Lake, Affinity Partners, and Saudi Arabia's PIF after a $55bn leveraged buyout closed. EA delisted from NASDAQ, with stockholders receiving $210 per share. The company told debt investors it will cut $700m in annual costs, including $170m in "organizational efficiencies" that Bloomberg interprets as "mass layoffs.
