WikiHow sues OpenAI over content use

WikiHow sued OpenAI, alleging mass copying of its copyrighted articles to train ChatGPT without permission or payment. The lawsuit claims at least 11,211 articles and 1,200 registered works were infringed, with crawlers hitting WikiHow over 300,000 times since May 2025.
