Gen Z engineers to study menstruation in microgravity

Engineers Manju Bangalore, 28, and Priya Abiram, 22, will board a Virgin Galactic flight next year to conduct the first quantitative study of menstrual fluid dynamics in microgravity. They will become the youngest South Asian women in space. The study uses a fluid mimicking menstrual blood to track flow and product absorption.
