GEA Invests in Solar Foods' CO2 Protein

German engineering firm GEA Group invested €8 million in Finnish startup Solar Foods, taking a 5.5% stake. Solar Foods produces Solein, a protein powder made from CO2 and hydrogen, which it claims has dramatically lower emissions than conventional protein.
