Private keys for eight eMudhra intermediate Certificate Authority certificates have been compromised, allowing attackers to forge trusted certificates. Six certificates were trusted by Apple, Chrome, Microsoft, and Mozilla roots, while two were for codesigning. The keys were generated by an insecure mechanism with low entropy, specifically ending in bytes 4, 56, 66, 115, 155, 156, 230, or 237.
