SK On: solid-state robot batteries cost 4x more

SK On says solid-state batteries can give industrial robots an 8+ hour runtime matching a human shift. However, solid-state cells would push a battery's share of robot manufacturing cost from under 2% to around 8%, a 4x increase that manufacturers must weigh against longer operating times and lower overall costs.
