Connecticut Requires AI Companies to Disclose Subscription Limits

Connecticut passed a law requiring AI subscription providers to disclose usage caps, feature restrictions, and service reduction discretion before payment. The law takes effect Oct. 1 and is enforceable by the state attorney general. A federal lawsuit against Anthropic over unclear Claude Max plan limits highlighted the need for such legislation.
