Coldcard RNG flaw linked to $88.6M Bitcoin theft

A COLDCARD firmware RNG integration error enabled the theft of roughly 1,367 Bitcoin, worth about $88.6 million, from 4,585 addresses. Galaxy Research identified the waves, and Block traced the flaw to a deterministic Yasmarang fallback. Coinkite released fixed firmware versions for affected Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5, and Q devices.
