Mexico's First Homegrown EV Seats Six And Costs $8,600

Mexico's first homegrown EV brand Olinia launched the Uno, a compact six-seater starting at $8,600. It targets last-mile taxi service with a 14.7 kWh battery, 17 hp motor, 31 mph top speed, and 62-mile range. Olinia claims operating costs of $0.03 per kilometer, undercutting gas taxis and motorcycle taxis.
