Toss and Optimism test Korean won stablecoin

Toss operator Viva Republica signed an MOU with Optimism and Sunnyside Labs for a three-month proof of concept of a Korean won-based stablecoin for institutional payments. The PoC uses Optimism's OP Stack and Sunnyside's Privacy Boost protocol to assess blockchain-based payment infrastructure for financial institutions.
