MIT student Nathan Alspaugh launches Keybytes, a modular keyboard project starting with one key and a hub, assembled like Legos. The hub uses an Arm Cortex M4 chip and connects to Keybits via magnets. Alspaugh estimates a full 110-key layout costs around $900 to assemble. The project began in March this year.
